The pizzaria men couldn't get un-tracked un-tracked in the early going and trailed 28-15 at half time. The game became more even towards the close of the contest, but Miner's held out to preserve the win. Bert . Oakey of Grobben's led all scorers with 18 points. Also in double figures for the Pizza Pan wer; Gayle Meacham with 17 points and Linwood Carter with 13. For the Motor men, Mark Newton had 16 points while Mike Marshall and Chris Sorenson each had 15. Springville finished 6-2 finishing behind Pleasant Grove and Timpview. Sr-pingville Sr-pingville participated in three thournaments Community names top Gary Christensen, once again leads the Springville Community Basketball league with a 17.1 average. Gary has been in the number one or two spot since the start of league action. Mike Shepherd, who led the league for a couple of weeks in a row, tried coming back from a hampering sprained ankle and dropped clear to the eighth, spot. Leif Olsen, a newcomer to the Top 15 Scorer's list, only because of an insufficient number of games played in, now finds himself second in scoring with a 16.7 scoring average. Mark Newton is a close third with a 16.4 average.
