Mimi is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ned 0. Bundy of Springville. She graduated from Springville High School in 1977 where she was a member of the FHA Club, and is now attending Utah Technical College in Provo where she is studying nursing. Charles (Kim) is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger D. Webb of Orem. Kim was a 1975 graduate of Orem High School and also attends Utah Technical College. The bride has selected Lisa Tiernan of Springville to attend as maid of honor and Patricia Bundy, sister of the bride, will serve as bridesmaid. A reception, honoring the couple, will be given after the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents in Springville. Mountain View UUP meets Camp Mountain View of the DUP met at the home of Helen Ashcraft May 11. Captain Helen Ashcraft conducted the meeting. Chaplain Beth Berrett gave the prayer. Minutes were read and 18 members mem-bers responded to roil call. Afton Palfreyman lead the singing "Lass of Mohee." A history of Fred Weight was given by a gradndaughter Wilda Oakley. The history had been recorded. Lesson leader Minnie Groesbeck gave the lesson "Pioneer poets and poetry." J Charles Kim Webb to wed Webb Altrusa club holds tea The Altrusa Club of Provo held their annual membership tea, Thursday, May 10, 7:30 p.m. at the Red Cross Building, Provo, Utah. Chairman Lucille Shaw, Co-chairman, Jean Breerton and Lolita Baird. The tea table was covered with a lace cloth centered with lilacs Flower bouquets decorated the room. Light refreshments were served. Edith Whitney gave the Altrusa opening prayer and Pledge of Allegiance was led by Margaret Davis while Lucille Shaw conducted the program. Ruth Booth, Eliza Bjeeregaard, Dorothy thanked those on the program and the hostesses who served refresliments. Rhea Golding gave the lesson on pioneer poets and poems. A period of tribute to mothers was given by the members. Mrs. Bird served a strawberry shortcake to 10 members. Peterson-Williams wedding rites set for June 1 Erma Bird of Springville announces the marriage of her son Jim Peterson of Cincinnati, Ohio to Miss Suzanne Williams of Castle Rock, Colo., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin R. Williams of Castle Rock, Colo. The coupleplans to be married June 1, 1978 at Castle Rock, Colo. An open house will be held June 3 from 7-9p.m.at the Bird familyhome 253 S. 300 East, Springville. Sierra Bonita DUP meets The Sierrra Bonita DUP camp held their meeting last week. Captain Malva Gott-fredsen Gott-fredsen presided and conducted the meeting. The opening song was led by chorister Val given by chaplain Lela Mellor and minutes were read and approved by secretary Bertie Thorpe. Pledge to the flag was led by parlimentarian Wilda Rigby. The lesson was given by Cecil Reid and Fawn Hales presented a history of her husband's mother. Captain Gottfredsen thanked the daughters for the support they had given her. New officers installed were: Captain Viva Kerby, first vice captain; Mary Sandford, second vice captain; Wilda Rigby; secretary and treasurer was Blanch Ostlund; Geneva Kapp, historian; chaplain, Lila Mellor; chorister, Val Clement; registrar was Alice Davis; parlimentarian parlimen-tarian was Birtie Thorpe ; and lessons by Cecil Reid Reva Lynn. Roundy, Fawn Whitney, Marcelene Mathews, Helen Hoffman . and Kathy Farrer gave information in-formation concerning the Altrusa program and functions. Several club members expressed their excitement ex-citement in their pursuit of the club project tutoring Viet Niamese and Laotian refugee families. President elect Lana Brown gave brief remarks about Altrusa International and the impact its functions has nationally, statewide and local. Captain Lucille Johnson was in charge of the meeting. A tribute to the 80 year old members, Clara Boyer and Philba Finley was given by Josephine Conover. The lesson was on pioneer poems and was presented by lesson leader Philba Finley. The camp poets Clara boyer and Josephine Conover gave their original poems. The history of Sara Ellen Wakefiled Bates was given by Lucille Johnson. New officers were installed in-stalled by Veloy Bailey, board member. Music was led by Oscar Josephine Conover accompanied ac-companied on a man- Pageant at American Fork High School, June 9 through July 8.
