Devils Diary by Shelly Fleenor Monday as Junior Day and this marked the beginning of the door decorating, hall decorating and the daily clues to the mystery person, chosen to be the most peppy person in school. The first person to guess correctly wins $5. Tuesday was sophomore day, and for that there were three spirit sticks hidden around the school. Who ever found one reaped the reward of $5. Wednesday was Senior Day. The decorated halls and doors wer judged, and we played two fun games. One was "Anything goes," with four teams, faculty, sophomore, junior, senior. Then during the course of the day we played, "I hate girls." The boys wouldn't talk to the girls because if they did it meant giving up their badge, and the girl with the most badges was voted "Miss Irresistible." Thursday is snow sculpture. Vice-President's Favorite Dainties Vice-President Fairbanks Fair-banks has a sweet tooth, ice cream being his special weakness. He would not enjoy the finest kind of a repast unless assured that it would be topped off with his favorite dainty. Next to ice cream in his gastronomic affections comes a sort of fruit salad made of cherries, chopped grapes, oranges and bananas. |
