Sports program for adult women to begin Since there is no organized women's sports program in Springville, Mrs. Robert Lewis of Springville will be conducting con-ducting a program which will meet the needs of women who wish to become actively involved in sports. Mrs. Lewis, who is currently teaching physical education at the middle School, is interested in-terested in providing an opportunity for mothers, grandmothers, married women, single women, etc. to participate in basketball, volleyball and softball tournaments. The program is designed de-signed for ladies out of high school (18 and over) who are not participating on college coll-ege or other organized teams. Trophies will be given to the twinning team at the end of the tournament. One team will consist of 5 to 10 women, and each team must pay a $35 entry fee to cover the cost of trophies and gym rental. You may choose your own teams and sign up. However, if you are interested in-terested in playing, but haven't a team, just come alone and you will be assigned to an independent in-dependent team. This is a non-profit organization. Mrs. Lewis feels physical fitness is of utmost importance for women as well as men.
