Show Organization donates to recovery center Alpha-Theta Chapter of , E.S.A.presented a check for $406. to Director of the Alcoholic Recovery Center Jim Hale. The center is the Philanthropic Philan-thropic Project for Alpha Theta this year. Earlier this fall they gave the center $200. in addition to furnishing and decorating the somens unit at the Center. Chapter Prsdient is Sandra Riser with Gail Kendall serving as Philanthropic Chairman. Foster home sought for young boys Would you consider sharing your home with a teenage boy who needs a family? The District III Office of the Utah State Division of Family Services Ser-vices in Provo urgently needs foster homes for boys 14-17 years of age. The problems these, boys face vary greatly; but they all share the common need for a positive family experience to help them with their difficulties. The guidance given these boys today may help them shape their lives for a happier, more meaningful tomorrow. Many of these boys have parents who were either unwilling, un-willing, or unable to provide the proper guidance and example that boys need as they are growing towards manhood. Some boys have lost their parents through death, illness, or abandonment. Some have just not been able to adjust totheir particular home or local environment. Frequently they have tried, in their own sometimes simplistic, overt way, to find a happier situation on their own. All are too young to face life alone without help. Most often this help can be very succesfully provided within the context of normal home and family life.
