The games begin at 6 and 8 p.m. each night. and required an operation. This year Alex was chosen basketball co-captain and will be relied on heavily to help the Red Devil team. In the spring he plans to run the 440 and the 880 as a member of the track team. He belongs to the Athletic Club having lettered in basketball as a sophomore. He was chosen most preferred man in his sophomore year. Alex is a member of the 3rd Ward where he is the secretary of his Priest's Quorum. He is a three year Seminary Graduate. Alex's hobbies include hunting, hun-ting, fishing, and all sports. His future plans include medical school at U of U. Greek architecture has been employed for many public buildings in Nashville, Tenn. It is known as the "Athens of the South." Springville High School Red Devils will host two pre-season basketball opponents Friday and Saturday, December 3 and 4 beginning at 8 p.m. each night. A jayvee contest preceeding the varsity event will begin at 6 p.m. Coming to the Red Devil lair Friday will be Uintah. Saturday's Satur-day's opponent will be Roy High School. Wednesday, the Devils played at Morgan. Split openers Springville split their first two games, losing to Richfield 58-63 here in the new season opener last Friday and taking the measure of Wasatch at Heber 45-56 45-56 Saturday night. The Richfield five led the Red Devils throughout the contest though Springville was close most of the way. With only 39 seconds left to play only two points separated the clubs and again with 13 seconds left. Richfield Rich-field capitalized on a fast break to win the contest. Four Richfield players hit in double figures: Jackman 18, Wilson 15, Frendsen 12 and Thalman 10. For the Devils Craig Pabst, promising junior, came up with 24 counters on 10 field goals and 4 for 7; Mike Hansen, junior tallied 15 and Chris Jensen, another junior came up with 10 points. A large and enthusiastic crowd was on Kolob seniors post results Kolob results for the past week showed Mapleton Second winning win-ning over Twelfth 57-38. High point men were Troxel 18, Allman 16, and Tuttle 12. Sixth forfeited to Second Mapleton Third beat Mapleton First 59-39. Criag Pabst again was top scorer for the Devils with 21 points on 9 goals and 3 for 4. Bart Brown spurred the Devils with 10 straight points when the going got tough to come up with second highest. Jensen with 7 and Cooksey with 6 were the other top scorers. For Wasatch Sorensen with 12, Van Wagner and Bergener with 11 each topped the losers. The 1971 Utah Wildlife Resources Code prohibits carrying loaded firearms in or being discharged from a vehicle. . Aircraft are considered motor vehicles, and the discharge of firearms from aircraft at coyotes or other wildlife is illegal. Utah law does not prevent Wildlife Services employees of the Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife from shooting predatory animals from the aircraft as part of their animal control program. Individuals engaged in legitimate livestock operations may obtain a certificate of registration to hunt predators from the air to protect their herds. Certificates must be obtained prior to hunting and will be valid for a specified period of time. They are available at Division of Wildlife Resources offices in Ogden, Salt Lake, Provo, Price, Vernal, and Cedar City.
