Three persons were injured. The Rev. Nettie Denman, 50, suffered a fractured leg -wfien the roof of her, home collapsed, burying the woman and her 20-year-old son. The son w-as scratched and bruised. S. F. Bragg, who lived nearby, also was hurt. . Five homes near the plant were damaged, and windows throughout a large area were shattered. The Golden State Fireworks Co. manufactures pyrotechnics for a world market. The plant contained hundreds of cases of "sets' ; such as those used at expositions and celebrations. .
