Nevertheless the result of their goofy brawl benefitted both. Ia Motta half-heartedly re-established himself as a middle weight contender and assured himself of a bout with Robert Villemain of France at the garden, gard-en, Jan. 7. The decision was unanimous, but the crowd booed it lustily. Most of the boxing writers disagreed dis-agreed with the three ring officials, offic-ials, and scored in favor of Yarosz. Yar-osz. (U.R) The 41 -game winning win-ning streak of Missouri Valley's Val-ley's Vikings longest in collegiate football history came to an end today when underdog Evansville college col-lege scored a 13 to 7 triumph in the Refrigerator bowl game. The 41 straight victories were compiled under Coach Volney Ashford and topped the previous mark of 39 straight set by the University Univer-sity of Washington Huskies under Gloomy Gil Dobie in 1909. Evansville, which won five of eight games during the regular season, went to work early. The Aces scored scor-ed twice before the half ended and gave Coach Volney Vol-ney Ashford's boys no chance in those 30 minutes to exhibit their long-successful attack. It wasn't until late in the game that the Vikings finally fin-ally managed to score, but then it was too late. The Aces' early-game superiority superior-ity was enough to subdue the nation's winningest college grid team.
