Show LOCAL MISS TO BE IN DANCE CONCERT AT BYU TONIGHT Janice Hocking, daughter of Mrs. Maude Hocking of Bingham, is among those taking part in the spring concert of the Brigham Young University chapter of Orchesis, national dance fraternity, frater-nity, to be presented this evening, even-ing, Friday, May 22, at 8:15 p.m. in Smith auditorium on the BYU campus. Under the direction of Mrs. Shirley Ririe, outstanding exponent ex-ponent of modern interpretive dance, and now a member of the BYU faculty, the group is composed com-posed of 38 members, fifteen of whom are men students. This marks one of the largest groups of Orchesis members on the BYU campus since it first was organized. organ-ized. An outstanding array of presentations has been prepared by Mrs. Ririe and the group. Miss Hocking, together with several other members appeared in a preview of the concert over KSL-TV Tuesday night. |
