Show luncheon was served. Special guests were Supt. Arthur L. Peterson, Pe-terson, Asst. Supt. Reed Beck-stead Beck-stead and President Rex T. Tripp of Jordan School District and Mrs. Joel P. Jensen, wife of the principal. Mrs. Fidel Gallegos represented the parents and Miss Josephine Wycoff represented the teachers. The party was given giv-en by the home room mothers and past P-TA officers of Cop-perfield Cop-perfield school. O i COPPERFiELD ' Shirley Pantalone, Ph. 106 e eeeeeeee e Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Miller were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Duke of Provo Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Miller received re-ceived word from Yokohoma, Japan, that their son, Leon, has been promoted to yeoman second sec-ond class. Ronald Burke, stationed at Long Beach, Calif., with the navy has been promoted to quartermaster quarter-master third class. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Burke. Kenneth Moore and Mrs. R. E. Burke returned home last Wednesday Wed-nesday from Klammath Falls, Ore., where they took Mrs. Moore and children who will visit there a month with Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Con-rad Hart and family. Mrs. W. L. Lealherwood Feted A party was held at the Cop-perfield Cop-perfield school Wednesday in honor of Mrs. W. L. Leatherwood for her services of taking care of the school for the past eleven years.
