It's piping hot and cheery and it's easy to prepare in the pretty Christmas colors and patterns, using the canned, condensed soups. Tastes good! Here s what you need, use a can each of condensed tomato soup and condensed cream of as paragus soup, milk to add to the soup, and a little minced parsley for trim. Then you'll want flat-bottomed flat-bottomed soup bowls for service and a cookie cutter to make the patterns (star, bell or round shaped). Simple, isn't it? Place tne tomato soup in a saucepan and add a cup of milk. Heat, but do not boil. In another saucepan heat the contents of a can of cream of asparagus soup with a cup of milk; bring to the boiling point. Now place the star-shaped cookie, cutter In the center of your flat-bottomed soup bowl. Hold cutter firm while you pour cream of asparagus soup into the center. Still holding the cutter firm, pour the tomato soup around it Lift out the cutter. You'll have a lovely green star in the center of your bright red soup. Sprinkle a bit of minced Darsley around the line where the two soups meet. The soup is not only attractive but it's good, too. If you use the circle cutter, you'll find it makes the soup look like a colorful wreath. This much soup will make four or five bowls. Latrr on you may wish to try other canned soups in patterns. Use the thick soups such as tomato, cream of chicken, cream of celery, green pea, cream of mushroom, cream of asparagus or black bean soups. Provo Man To Wed S L.
