Leta Snow hen Leta Snow (right) woke up this past August 6th, she knew something was wrong. "I had a mild headache," remembers Leta, who lives in Jensen. "I thought that was strange because I never have headaches." The next day the headache was much worse, so Leta went to another hospital. "By then, the headache was so severe I could hardly hard-ly see. It was like a knife going through my left 'ASU reye and temple and then being twisted." . The other hospital thought Leta was dehydrated dehy-drated and gave her an IV. When that didn't work, they gave her Demerol, then morphine and then ordered an MRI. When Leta went to the radiology department, she was told that everybody had gone home and she would have to come back tomorrow. "I was really in pain," remembers Leta. "Fortunately, my daughter Vickie (left) called. When I told her the situation, she said, 'You re going to Ashley Valley Medical Center.'" Dr. William Durrant, an emergency medicine med-icine physician at Ashley Valley, examined Leta and immediately ordered a CT Scan. It revealed that she had a brain hemorrhage, so Leta was transported by helicopter to the University of Utah Hospital. "If my daughterJiad not taken me to the ER at Ashley Valley, I wouldn't be here today," says Leta. "I used to go to other hospitals for all my medical care. Not anymore. Now I'm going to Ashley Valley." 1 1 A$hley I Valley Medical Center ' 1 -'.-- j?V u :: ; L & W a ti mi i a 4 r k v4 -v James McMickell and Mariah Hernandez Hernandez and McMickell to wed Saturday, July 8 Mariah Hernandez and James Neil McMickell have chosen to be married Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Western Park.
