Jr Jazz basketball registration The Uintah Recreation is now accepting ac-cepting registration for the 1994-1995 1994-1995 Jr Jazz Youth Basketball Program. This program is for boys and girls in third through 12th grade. Participants are divided into teams according to grade with third and fourth grade teams being coed and all other teams being divided into separate girl and boy teams. The Jr Jazz Youth Basketball Program is designed to provide youth a positive sports experience while teaching them the fundamentals fundamen-tals of basketball The third and fourth grade league will begin mid November and run to the end of December. All other leagues will begin their league play the first part of January and condnue through the first part of March. Initial registration for the program is S25 for the first child in a family and $20 for additional children in the same family. There is a $6 fee if participants need a blackred Jazz jersey. Also available this year is the option to purchase a discount ticket to a Jazz game. The selected game is on Friday, April 21 and will be agairctt the Minnesota Timbcrwolvcs. Cost for the game tickets is $6 for players and $9 for non-players. Registration will be taken at the Recreation Office weekdays from 8 a.m. to S p.m., also two nights of special registration will be held this Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Recreation Offtcc kxaied on the third floor of the SlateCounty building.
