Show 20 Vernal Express Wednesday, August 26, 1992 V TEA WW MIWM The Vernal Tri-State Invitational swim meet was held Aug. 7-8 at the Vernal City pool with teams from Wyoming, Colorado and Utah participating. par-ticipating. Both a mini (eight and under) and regular meet were held. Among the 33 Viper swimmers participating, eight had never competed com-peted in a USS sanctioned short course meet before. Lindsay Drollinger, Tony Beck, Brook Batty, Brian and Jeff Berlin, Stephen Eldredge, Joel Hartmann and Crystal Allan were the lucky ones to share that experience. With seven swim clubs and well over 100 swimmers participating, Vemal's Rachel Law was given the Hero Award for taking the most time off her events. She shaved off 1:28:77. Rachel also earned an A time in the 50 free and B times in the 100 and 200 free.
