Good-natured, mindless, vulgar, playful. Cute Heaven sequence ("Catch you later, God"). B & T's somewhat self-contradictory message mes-sage ("be excellent to each other and party on") and their infectious innocence have started an entertainment entertain-ment dynasty. Watch for a III, IV, V Rated PG for a little vulgarity and profanity, with imbecilic male and female teen role models. 92 minutes. min-utes. Mobsters . This copycat "Godfather" ripoff cynically and mindlessly dumps gallons of blood, music and circling camera shots on an unsuspecting young audience expecting to get all atwitter over Christian Slater ("Robin Hood"). They will see the summer's most disgusting movie, a two-hour music video with no story or characterization, and an unbelievably unbeliev-ably tasteless serving of ghastly gore and violence. This supremely embarrassing, glaringly contrived attempt to cash in on the 1980 $100-million Randal Kleiser hoax stars newcomers Brian Krause and Milla Jovovich, tender-footed tender-footed movie-star lookalikes whose claim to fame will be that they bored the living daylights out of millions. But we do agree that seclusion and handmade survival are more appealing ap-pealing than L. A., Boise or even Carlinville, Kleiser executive produced, pro-duced, TV vet William A. Graham produced and directed. Rated PG-13 for an R's worth of nudity. 102 minutes. Another You Year's most pathetically incompetent incompe-tent flick. Multiphobic looney and pathological liar Gene Wilder is released re-leased from a mental institution into the care of con-man Richard Pryor. We have no idea what happens next; the film appears to have been written writ-ten in a drunken stupor by two characters char-acters such as those portrayed. This year's "Frankenstein" spinoff is the first genuine horror film since "The Fly," and just as scary and engrossing. en-grossing. N. Y. (played by Canada) shrink Jeff Fahey loses his right arm and receives the transplant of a killer's arm, which works well but causes him no end of trouble, as do the same donor's left arm and legs to other recipients. Does the arm really have a soul of its own? Written and directed with precision and unusual credibility (considering the premise) by Eric Red. Gets out of hand and exceedingly exceed-ingly gruesome near the end; happy ending. Great performances;' excellent supporting cast includes Brad Dourif ("Cuckoo's Nest," "Mississippi Burning") and Zakes Mokae ("Gross Anatomy," ;The Doctor"). Rated R for body parts (pretty ghastly and gory); some profanity, brief husband-wife sex. 90 minutes.
