Walker of Salt Lake City, questioned the working of the constitution when it states that no pardon and commutation commuta-tion should occur without a full hearing before the board. Walker said the Board of Pardon members have been individually conducting hearings. It was questioned ques-tioned whether "full hearing" meant that all members of the board had to be present. No rulings are made without the support of all members of the board. McKeachnie suggested that members mem-bers of the Board of Pardons be invited in-vited to report to the commission at a future meeting. Motorists cautioned The Great Lake Timber Company will begin hauling timber down the Brownie Canyon Road Monday, July 30, according to Dave Wilson, Forester on the Vernal Ranger District Logging traffic will continue throughout the rest of the summer and into the fall. Motorists should exercise caution driving on the road during this period.. Let's go to the movies by Dt Allen Hasson Jungle Book l2 Based on Kipling's classic "Mowgli" stories, this 1967 Disney animated still holds up well as both musical and comedy. Phil Harris' voice is the bear, Louis Prima the ape king, Sterling Holloway the klutzy snake, and George Sanders as the vicious tiger. The story is a bit thin for adults, but the physical humor is cute, and Harris and Prima really "get down" for their big number. The little orphan or-phan "man-cub," of course, eventually eventu-ally falls in love, a "bear necessity" for Rated G. 74 minutes. Quick Change 12 Comedian Bill Murray ("Ghostbusters I" and "II," "Scrooged") turns producer and director di-rector as well as starring in the best showcase yet for his cool, laidback style. He and accomplices Randy Quaid ("Lampoon Vacations") and Gcena Davis ("Accidental Tourist") rob a bank and encounter incredible obstacles in their escape, while N.Y.C. Policy Chief Jason Robards tries to track them down. The humor is in characters and situations, not car chases and vulgarity; vul-garity; and Murray's patience and comic timing, reminiscent of classic old-lime comedy, makes "Quick Change" the most refreshing and satisfying comedy since t'.ic B.luVi film "Clockwise." Mild R: Language. 88 minutes. The Adventures of Ford Falrlane Andrew Dice Clay shows why they don'i want him on TV. The L.A. private eye abuse and insults women w hile on the trail of a rock-and-roll murderer. Directed by Rcnny llulin ("Elm St. 4," BDic Hard 2"). Forest policy developed for outfitters and guides The Ashley National Forest is beginning be-ginning the process of developing a policy to govern outfitterguide use, according to Laura West, Forest Planner. "The policy will be developed from an analysis of the environmental environmen-tal impacts of outfitterguide use on the forest," says West. "We're inviting invit-ing the public to help us determine a level of use that is sensitive to the environment and meets the needs of recreationalists." West says comments and suggestions sugges-tions from the public will be collected col-lected throughout the summer. In October, a planning team will analyze ana-lyze the comments to identify key issues and determine hoe to proceed with the environmental analysis. The team will inform all interested people of its process and will accept comments throughout the planning process. Comments can be sent to the Forest, Supervisor, Ashley National Forest, 355 N. Vernal Ave. Vernal Utah 84078. All district offices also welcome comments. The Adventures of Milo and Otis This is a dog and cat adventure similar in style to some of the great old animal dramas Disney used to do, like "Incredible Journey." It's a Japanese production, with gorgeous scenery and photography, amazing animal acting (18 trainers), and a comical narration with delightful de-lightful mimicry by Dudley Moore that sc it apart and makes it highly entertaining for all ages!
