The department said the address numbers on the outside of the Moray Court mailbox were blown off when the fireworks exploded. Public police logs do not provide details about the case, however. On the 4th of July, police officers received numerous complaints about fireworks. Some of the calls included: WE PACKED UP, BUNDLED UP, AND LOADED UP THEN WE MOVED 63 FEET • At 11:43 p.m. someone called the police from American Saddler Drive, where someone was reportedly launching fireworks. Police officers, though, did not find problems. • Earlier, at 11:36 p.m., fireworks were reported at Park City High School. • Someone called the police from Lucky John Drive at 11:05 p.m. reporting someone was setting off fireworks. The day before, Thursday. July 3, the police received a complaint at 10:17 p.m.. of people setting off fire- No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. works at a vacant house on Meadows Drive. On Monday, June 30 at 9:21 p.m., kids were reportedly seen lighting fireworks on the 2600 block of Lucky John Drive, near Park City High School. Other incidents reported to the Police Department last week included: On Sunday, July 6 at 2:08 a.m.. someone called police officers to Norfolk Avenue, where a loud party was reported next door to the caller. Public police logs, however, do not provide details, including what brand of bicycle is in question and where it was sitting. On Saturday, July 5, the Police Department continued receiving complaints about fireworks, with people on streets like Meadows Drive and Solarnere Drive calling dispatchers that night. The Police Department at 2:30 p.m., received a complaint of a car break-in on the 1800 block of Prospector Avenue. The case occurred the night before, the police were told, and a car stereo was lost. On Friday, July 4 at 9:44 p.m., a fight was reported at the tennis courts at City Park. The police said they arrested three people, and three police vehicles were summoned. Public police logs do not provide details about charges against the three. At 7:33 p.m., the police warned a person on Empire Avenue of Park City's leash laws. The police received a complaint at 5 p.m. of friends leaving a 16-yearold boy under a table and drunk on Park Avenue. A medical crew was called. A police officer wrote a driver a speeding ticket at 4:10 p.m. at the Deer Valley Drive-Short Line Road intersection. The police said the person was driving 61 mph in a 40 mph zone. Earlier that day. at 7:59 a.m., a driver was pulled over on the 2000 block of Park Avenue. The driver was caught at 55 mph in a spot where the speed limit is 40 mph. On Thursday, July 3 at 10:47 p.m., the police received a complaint of a group of men in a parking lot on the 1900 block of Prospector Avenue. They were drinking and blaring their car horns, the police were told. A person became stuck in an elevator at 6:50 a.m. on the 2900 block of Deer Valley Drive. The Park City Fire District was called. On Tuesday, July 1 at 9:17 a.m., the police received a report of someone driving a silver-colored Audi hitting and knocking over a motorcycle on the 1300 block of Snow Creek Drive.
