So he-and fellow sophomore, Robert O'Donnell, formed the Comic Book Culture Society, one of the dozens of clubs at the high school. Thursday was Club Day at the school, where club leaders tried to solicit new members during lunch time. When many people think of comic books, what comes to mind is the campy Adam West "Batman" television series from the 1960s, Topkis explained. "I think if we introduced more people to today's comics, it would be a more popular medium," Topkis continued. "It's the best thing about being a nerd," O'Donnell said. Park City High School's student clubs cover a variety interests - politics, arts, recreation, SCOTT S\HEJPARK RECORD and others.
