"This allows all family members, even the family pet, to participate in a fun, outdoor activity in a safe environment." A fee of S3 will be charged per dog, with proceeds benefiting the Summit County Friends of Animals. Passengers bringing pets are required to have their dog on a leash at all times while at the station and on the train. It is also recommended that owners bring only adult dogs that are pet- and human-friendly. The Heber Valley Railroads Dog Train runs every Saturday at 11 a.m. The cost for tickets is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $12 for children 3-12 and $3 for dogs of all ages.
