Show Seorles celebrate 50th Harold D. and Florence B. Searle observed their 50th wedding anniversary an-niversary recently. They will be honored at a family reunion June 1 from 3-5 p.m. when the descendants of James E. and May C. Bums gather at the Bountiful City Park for their annual get-together. The Searles were married May 14, 1941. They have made their home in Bountiful since 1947. Harold Searle was bom in Payson, a son of Frank E. and Edith Wignall Searle. He left there at an early age. He retired in 1971 from the D&RG Coffee Shop, where he had worked as a cook sines his discharge from the U.S. Army Air Force at the end of World War II. He has always enjoyed fishing and gardening. Florence Searle was bom in Bountiful, a daughter of James E. and May Cooper Bums. She has been a social worker with special interest in child welfare. She retired in 1976 from the State Department of Health, Handicapped Children's Service. The couple's two children and their spouses also live in Bountiful. They are Dorothy and Owen Gisseman and George and Yon Hui Searle. They have five grandchildren grand-children and one great-grandchild. Jk& MR. AND MRS. HAROLD D. SEARLE |
