The choir will sing from pre-recorded concert con-cert band accompaniments prepared by local university bands as well as from live accompanists. The pageant involves widespread participation, but is organized so no participating unit or performer has an extremely heavy time involvement. Rehearsals will begin June 2 and will involve either once or twice-weekly twice-weekly participation through the first week in July, when additional rehearsals will be scheduled. The large festival choir will rehearse on Sunday evenings, the show choir on Thursday evenings, the children's choir on Tuesday mornings, and the dancers on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons during dur-ing June. Rehearsals for actors, speakers and soloists will be scheduled to the convenience of the participants. par-ticipants. Help in contacting, publicity, stage crew and lighting, audio-visual materials preparation, video camera operation, opera-tion, photography, piano and organ accompanying, and other areas is also needed.
