Show Vera Jane Hoffmann PROVO Vera Jane Williams Hoffman, 69, died March 27, 1991 at her daughter's home in Provo, of cancer. Bom May 20, 1921,inRiverdale, to Aaron Thomas and Sylvia May Child Williams. Married Kenneth J. Hoffman on June 30, 1939 in Ogden. The marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in Mesa, Ariz. LDS i1 L r .7. . Temple. Divorced in 1985. She grew up in Ogden, where she attended school and began her married mar-ried life. During her marriage she lived liv-ed in Westchester and Whittier, Calif, before returning to Utah to live in Bountiful. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many callings. In 1986 she served a mission in the Arcadia Ar-cadia California mission. She worked as a floral designer and enjoyed working work-ing with flowers and crafts. Survived by nine children, Mrs. William (Linda) Petersen, Provo; Dennis Hoffmann, Bellevue, Wash.; Michael Hoffmann, Provo; Mrs. Ronald (Shanna) Bingham, Everett, Wash.; Merrill Hoffman, Salt Lake City; Richard Hoffmann, Sandy; David Hoffmann, Layton; Susan Hoffmann, Hof-fmann, Sierra Madre, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Wanless, Everett, Wash.; 28 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leland R. Williams of Brigham City; she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, one sister, one brother and a grandson. Funeral services were held March 30, at the West Bountiful Third Ward. Interment was in the North Ogden City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary. |
