Show Don Colder , Donald Calder passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 1990 of cancer. Born March 24, 1923 in Salt Lake City to Walter Stewart and Ida Ellen Flack Calder. Married June Natalie Samuels, April 16, 1946, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Don will be remembered re-membered for his lifetime of service ser-vice to his country, community and f ami Iy . Served as a radio operator, U.S. Army during World War II. Held a number of different positions in his church and was serving as a counselor in the bishopric of the Murray 33rd Ward at the time of his death. Survivors: wife, Murray; daughters, Judy Eastman, Fruit Heights; LeAnn Felt, Centerville; Connie Calder, Salt Lake City; Penny McHardy, Reno, Nev.; sons, Donald Scott, Piano, Texas; Jeffrey Mason, Sacramento, Calif.: 17 . grandchildren; one great-grandson, seven brothers, two sisters. Preceded Preced-ed in death by one sister. Funeral services were held Oct. 18 in the Murray 33rd LDS Ward. Funeral directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Cemetery. |
