Show Thell Burrell Carroll CENTER VILLEThe 11 Burrell Carroll, 73, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away May 27. 1990. Bom November 26. 1916 in r Blanding, Utah, the son of James Franklin and Annie Burrell Carroll. Car-roll. Married Edith Barton on July 18, 1942. Veteran World War n, U.S. Army Air Force. Com-mander Com-mander of American Legion Bountiful Post 79. He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served as teacher, scout master, and dance director. di-rector. Volunteer sheriff deputy for Bountiful City. Retired superintendent superinten-dent of fleet maintenance for Salt Lake County. Thell loved his family and life. He enjoyed outdoors, hunting, hun-ting, fishing, gardening and traveling. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Gary Thell and Gam Earl, Far-mington; Far-mington; Hal Denton, Woods Cross; Mark Barton, Atlanta, Georgia; and Quinn Barton, Midland, Texas. Three daughters, Deaun Kimber, Layton; Jan Diamond, Bountiful; and Luann Hunter, Twin Falls, Idaho. Three brothers and one sister: Vivan, Denver, Colo.; Willard, Salt Lake City; Lester and Elizabeth, both of Blanding, Utah. Twenty-four grandchildren. grand-children. Preceded in death by three brothers: Clarence, Tom and Denton. Funeral services were held May 31, at the Centerville 10th Ward. Interment was in the Bountiful City Cemetery. |
