Show Business-education workshop June 15-19 Teachers across Davis County have a chance to experience, ex-perience, hands-on, the challenges of surviving in the world of free trade. The Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce and Davis School District are co-sponsoring a businesseducation workshop June 15-19. Registration is limited to the first 30 educators to apply. Educators will be provided with an inside view of the world of business and public service while earning 3 hours of in service or USU credit. Learning how companies com-panies produce and deliver their product or s rvice, how they manage their organizations and how thej adapt to social and economic change are among the objectives ob-jectives of the seminar. Businesses such as Lakeview Hospital, Valley Bank DATC and Delta Airlines are just a few of the sites where registrants will be taught. Transportation will be provided by the District. Interested parties may register at Lakeview Hospital at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, or by calling the Davis County School Board, Staff Development office. |
