Show Dodds celebrate 50th The children of Jacob (Jay) G. and Grace Hill Dodd of Pleasant View celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner party. par-ty. They were married June 10, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. - He was born in Ogden, the eldest son of Jacob D. and Grace Garfield Dodd. She was bom in Bountiful, r the daughter of Jonathan (Josh) and Edith White Hill, an only child, t Jay served in the Air Force dur- ' ing World War U. He worked as ' transportation specialist for UtahIdaho Railroad, Amalgamated Sugar Co., General Mills and Hill Air Force Base, where he retired. Both have been active in Grace's Custom Drapery business while health permitted. Jay and Grace have been active in church callings and have served as Ogden Temple workers. Jay's hobbies are gardening, golf, leather work and reading. Grace's hobbies are sewing, decorating and oil painting. She belongs to the '.. Utah Daughters of Pioneers, camp Silver Sage, The Lomond Literary Club and Fidelis Club. ? Their children and spouses are John and Shonny Russell, Bountiful; Boun-tiful; Roy and Mickey Hutchinson, Brent and Jaylene Hadley, East Layton; Douglas and Darla Cutler, Island Park, Idaho; Scott (deceased) and Diane Craker, Ogden; and Brent Jay Dodd, Park City.
