Show Graham to run for AG office Utah Solicitor General Jan Graham has officially declared her candidacy for the office of Utah Attorney General. "My decision to run for Attorney General comes from my deep personal commitment to this office and to excellence in public service in the law," said Graham. Currently serving as Utah's Solicitor General, Graham left a lucrative private law practice in 1989 to pursue a career in public service under Attorney Paul Van Dam. "I've fought hard to rebuild the Attorney General's office, said Graham, "and to provide it with the tools needed to achieve criminal justice, uphold victims rights, punish environmental abusers and protect Utah consumers." "I'm a lawyernot a politician," said Graham. Supporting Sup-porting her are some of the Democratic party's most merit leaders, including former Utah governor, Calvin L. Rampton, who chairs her campaign, and current cur-rent Attorney General Paul Van Dam. Also lining up behind Graham are Norma Matheson, Fred E. (Ted) Moss, Frances Farley, Palmer DePaulis, Grethe Peterson (co-chair of the campaign), Ted Wilson, Paula Julander, Mike Dmitrich, Don Holbrook, Esther Landa, Jim Bradley and Ian Cumming.
