Show Cox plans to retire tion and Utah-Idaho vice president for the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Association. LaVaun Cox, a former. weekly newspaper publisher and past president of the Utah Press Association has announced an-nounced plans for retiring from Questar Corp., Salt Lake City. Cox,' a Centerville resident, said he would conclude his career as vice president of public affairs for Questar on March 31, after the upcoming up-coming session of the -Utah Legislature. Cox is the company's chief lobbyist and spokesman with the legislature and other government-related groups. Cox was a member of the Utah State Senate from 1959 to 13, and served as majority leader. He became executive director of the Utah Petroleum Council and the Rocky Mountain - Oil - and ; Gas Association for Utah and Idaho from 1961-1973.
