Show Plan August wedding Woods Cross High. He was a member of the Woods Cross high marching band for three years. He also was in the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps of Vancouver, Wash., which toured the U.S. in 1987. Shane received his Eagle Scout -award and is presendy employed at Scannercraft. Karrie and Shane will honey- , moon in Hawaii and reside in West Bountiful on their return. Ernest C. and Karla Halford of North Salt Lake announce the engagement en-gagement of their daughter Karrie Lynne to Shane L. Nielson, son of Edsel J. and Pat Nielson. Karrie's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kieffer and Edward and Eva Arlington and the late Charles W, Halford. Shane's trrandnarents are Mr. and Mrs. and currently has a 3.9 gpa. Karrie has received the Young Womens Award. At Woods Cross High she was a member of the drill team and was the president of the FBL A. She also received the United States Achievement Academy Award. She is currently employed as a secretary at Scannercraft Shane was a 1987 graduate of Bessie Pryor Murphy and the late William Murphy and the late Mr. and Mrs. Philo Leland Nielson. The couple is planning an Aug. 17 wedding in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Their reception will be held that evening at die Canterbury Hall in Bountiful. Karrie "is a 1988 graduate of Woods Cross High and presently a sophomore at Salt Lake Community ! College studying business.
