Show Thirl I. Christensen t i f BOUNTDFUL--Thirl I. Christensen Chris-tensen died Sunday, May 21, 1989 in a Bountiful hospital of heart failure. He was born. Nov. 13, 1923 in Bear River City, Utah to Irving F. and Carrie Jensen Christensen. He married Rita Jensen on Sept. 22, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a supervisor for F.A.A. Air Traffic Controllers and a building contractor. He was active in the LDS Church serving for 14 years as Assistant Ward Clerk in the Bountiful 47th and 39th Wards. He is survived by his wife, Bountiful; Boun-tiful; sons, . T. Gene, Bountiful; Ryan and Brenda, West Bountiful; Brad J. and Melanie, Farmington; Scott Dee, Phoenix, Ariz.; mother, Carrie Christensen, Bear River City; grandchildren, Jenny, Meken-zie, Meken-zie, Dallas; brothers and sisters, Nola Nessler, Elmo Christensen, Bear River City; Gaylen Christensen, Chris-tensen, Meredith Weese, Tremon-ton; Tremon-ton; Floy Murray, Ogden;. Dee Christensen, San Fernando, Calif.; and Varge Christensen, Sylraar, , Calif. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Lyle. Funeral services will be held at THIRL L CHRISTENSEN 1 1 un. Thursday, May 25, 1989 in the Bountiful 39th Ward Chapel, 600 East 1500 South, Bountiful 'Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Interment: Lakeview Cemetery Bountiful, Utah. : |
