Show LHS family workshop i LAYTON - The Layton High School PTA is sponsoring a PTA family workshop on Wednesday," March 29 from 7-9:30 pan. in the Layton High School auditorium. All parents and students, 12 and older ol-der are invited to attend. Classes will run 40 minute each with five minutes between sessions. Participants will have a choice of three classes to attend during the evening. Topics for the workshop are: "The Struggle to be Thin,". "A Better Way to Deal With Stress, (Get High on Life); "Skin and Oral Cancer' (the high price of tanning and chewing); "Depression and .- " - S Suicide" (a deeper understanding ' of self-esteem); "Self Esteem and Parenting" (how to build self- j esteem in children); 'Drugs-the j New Signs and Symptoms" (where I to go for help); "Families in Focus' ; (seven steps to building strong families). fa-milies). ' ' Speakers are from the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. The first 300 "people in attendance will receive a - -free school insignia mug, compliments compli-ments of Lakeview Hospital The workshop is a combined . effort of the PTA's in Layton, the Lakeview Hospital and Hi Pathe, a grant from the University of Utah.
