Show Cancer society area leaders The American Cancer Society -has announced the leaders for the : Centerville Farmington area for the 1989-90 year. They are: Chris Gil- : lespie, president; Barbara Jones, vice president; Stella Trump, secretarypublic secre-tarypublic information; Allyson Clark, public education youth; Marolyn Leetham, public education adults; Dee Seelos, professional edrtu . ucation; Joy Pearson, crusade ' chairman; Marge Lifferth, residential residen-tial chairman for Centerville; Barbara Bar-bara Ploeger, residential chairman for Farmington; Jan Jones, service and rehabilitation. : This year the cancer drive will begin on April 5 and last for one week. Volunteers will be handing out information packets with the . warning signs of cancer as they ask for donations. "Most cancer can be cured when it is detected early," says Mrs. Gillespie, "so the information infor-mation is important." . ' , , Last year Centerville was recog-' nized as having the highest contri- . bution rate for a city of its size to the cancer drive.
