The Bountiful Hills Residents and Concerned Citizens Association Associa-tion will hold a public meeting at 7 pjn. on Tuesday, March 28 at Woods Cross High School. The purpose of the meeting is to generate ge-nerate increased public awareness about the "Wasatch Variation" of the proposed natural gas pipeline through Davis County and encourage encour-age greater citizen involvement in opposing the Wasatch variation. The Association was organized i when it was learned the pipeline (which is designed to carry natural gas from Wyoming to Southern California) Ca-lifornia) would affect the mountains and foothills east of Bountiful and cross the Wasatch Fault in North Salt Lake. Part of the route would go through Mueller Park and would cut through the Millcreek Canyon Watershed, which supplies Bountiful Boun-tiful City with its (broking water. The Wasatch Variation was created when the original route through Eastern Utah was blocked by the Uinta National Forest -: The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Woods Cross High . choral room. The general public is encouraged to attend. For further |
