WOODS CROSS Brigham Young University athletic director Glen Tuckett will address an educator's educa-tor's forum on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at Benchmark Regional Hospital. Hos-pital. Tuckett's address will be to various va-rious teachers, counselors, administrators admi-nistrators and coaches in the Davis School District. His speech will begin be-gin at noon in the gymnasium of the hospital. Since he assumed the directorship director-ship in July of 1976, BYU has claimed 12 athletic supremacy titles in the Western Athletic Conference, Confer-ence, and has consistently been ranked among the top 10 athletic programs in the country. He was inducted into the Utah Sports Hall of Fame in 1985, and received the Dale Rex award in 1983, symbolic of the person who has contributed most to amateur, athletics in the state of Utah. A nati e of Murray, Tuckett was an all-around athlete at Murray High. He played professional base-- base-- ball for nine seasons, and later launched laun-ched his coaching career at West High School. He joined the BYU staff in 1959, serving as assistant football coach for six years and head baseball coach for 17 years.
