Show Between the hours of 1-6 a.m. on Sept. 6, a Salt Lake area man was struck and killed in a hit and run accident in Salt Lake City. Leon Kinder was on his way home from his dairy plant job when his car ran out of gas. Leon was westbound on 1300 South at 5600 West. He pulled his car over and tried to get help from a passing car. The victim was standing in the northbound lane when a vehicle struck and killed him. Leon Kinder is described as a white male six feet in height, 200 pounds with medium length brown hair and a mustache. Utah Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information in-formation leading to the arrest and binding over of the suspect.
