Show Solicitors regulated By DONETA GATHERUM KAYSVILLE Two matters of business were considered by the Kaysville City Council at their Sept. 20 meeting. Barbara Johnson, a citizen of Kaysville, petitioned the council to consider requiring a business license for solicitors working in the city limits, Mrs. Johnson gave the council members copies of an ordinance ordi-nance used in another city to help regulate door-to-door salespersons. salesper-sons. The council agreed to study the matter. Council members authorized city manager, John Thacker, to complete the application for a Bureau of Outdoor Recreation grant that would help pay for installation instal-lation of rest rooms in the newly developed Barnes Park. The amount needed for this project has not yet been determined. |
