Bountiful woman selected to direct Venture Club The Rainbow Squares Square Dance Club elected a new board. They include: back, left to right, j Ralph and Kathy Carson, Joan and Bob Barlow, Don and Lynn Rasmussen; middle row, left to right, Reed Hubbard, Kent Noble, Duane Woodmansee, Art Hemsley, Vern Anderson, Marinus Boogert, Wendell Taylor; front left to right, Jean Hubbard, Jean Grazer, Norma Noble, Norma Rae Hemsley, Cindy Anderson, Celia Taylor and Virginia Boogert. Beginners' classes will be held Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at Woods Cross High School. Venture Club of Salt Lake Elected Lisa Street, Bountiful, as its president. Other new officers are Dawn Mangelsen, vice president; Sheri Groustra, treasurer; and Julie Day-ley, Day-ley, secretary. The Venture Club is a national organization of young business or professional women, dedicated to community service. A Venturist must work 20 hours a week and be between the ages of 18 and 40. Venture Ven-ture Clubs are sponsored by Sorop-timist Sorop-timist Clubs. There are 105 Venture Ven-ture Clubs in the United States with over 1,500 members nationwide. nation-wide. The Venture Club of Salt Lake recently held fundraisers benefiting benefit-ing both the Ronald McDonald House for critically injured children chil-dren and sponsored a Drug Free Utah Program. |
