The average age of those who sew in the Bountiful area is rapidly dropping, due in part to the efforts of sewing instructor Rosanne Schulthies. Mrs. Schulthies recently recent-ly opened "Rosanne's Academy of Sewing" at 3218 S. 200 W., Bountiful, Bounti-ful, which specializes in teaching children and young teens to make their own clothing. "I try to give the students more than just a knowledge of how to run a sewing machine and how to put the pieces of fabric together," said Mrs. Schulthies. "I hope they will learn to love sewing so they will stick with it and sew for pleasure later on in their lives. Everybody needs some type of a creative outlet or hobby.
