Show : :x ; :'-.j.......,.,.. ( I x , L, : - By RACHEL MABEY The first fishy week of school in the enchanted sea Bountiful is now midstream. All fish are swimming cool except for the bubbly baby-fish. baby-fish. They seem to be floundering with frustration in hall fountains. Getting into the swim of things during the first week of school is enough to make them coldblooded. cold-blooded. There are simply too many swimmy things to do: swish to their classrooms, swim around sharks, pick up class office petitions, peti-tions, prepare simply slimy campaigns, cam-paigns, and attend slippery orientation orienta-tion meetings. Babyfish stresses only increase with slimy posters put up Tuesday, Aug. 6 and clever, jawing put out Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the election assembly. Also on Wednesday and Thursday, babyfish must bite the worm and vote during both lunches to make a great catch of babyfish officers. In the meantime, salmon and shark can simply lie back and sun their scales at Raging Waters, Thursday, Sept. 1 , for only $5 after 3. What a great opportunity to swim through summer memories, but still the tide must go on. Friday, Sept. 2 has netted the Fabulous Fishy Welcome Back assembly, plus another fishball game. This game will be held in the Olympus sea at 4:30. Again, our varsity sharks will shred their competitors com-petitors with scaly success. Furthermore, our lovely lady sharks will also swish their stuff on Friday at a volleyball tournament held in our very own beautiful Bountiful sea. Let's all swim to the gym and give support while lending the use of our gills. Finally, Monday the 6th will provide pro-vide an opportunity to float and rest your gills in preparation for the fish golf game in our Bountiful sea on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 3. BHS sharks, salmon and babyfish will join fins to hook and clean the WX catfish, who have polluted our enchanted sea long enough. We fish of the enchanted en-chanted Bountiful sea shall overcome, over-come, and swim with power, sportsmanship, sport-smanship, and spirit through the following seaweed. Cities made preparations for back-to-school by re-striping cross walks and school zones. In Woods Cross , Blake Anderson spray painted the street as Ledel Pace re-routed traffic. |
