Show David Phillip Mitchell 14 grandchildren. Interment was in the Glen Oaks Memorial Park in the Veteran's Court of Honor in Chico, Calif. Funeral services for David Phillips Phil-lips Mitchell, 61, formerly of Woods Cross, were held May 26, 1988 in Paradise, Calif. He died at home after a lengthy heart condition. condi-tion. Dave was born Dec. 10, 1926 to Hubert and Lenora Clay Mitchell. He graduated from Davis High School. He attended the 40th class reunion two years ago. He was active ac-tive in the Boy Scouts and achieved his Eagle at age 14. He remained active in scouting the rest of his life. Mr. Mitchell enlisted in the Navy at age 18 and served from 1944 to 1947. He married Ruby Jen-son Jen-son in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He and his wife recently returned from a successful leadership mission mis-sion in Tampa, Fla. for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout his life Mr. Mitchell had served in many church positions, posi-tions, all with dedication and commitment. com-mitment.
