Show Hostel to offer credit option Volunteers are needed to help run the Youth Hostel at the Crossroads Cross-roads Urban Center and, depending depend-ing on the amount of work done, University credit will be offered. The hostel was organized last summer sum-mer by ASUU to provide a place for students to stay overnight while traveling through Salt Lake. It is still in operation, but only about 10 people use the facility now that school has started. Credit-no credit Volunteers will be asked to spend six to eight hours a week at the hostel and additional projects, with workshops on drug crises and counseling carrying added hours. Creditno credit will be given for a minimum amount of time spent Anyone interested in volunteering may contact the new full-time director of the hostel, Fred Died-rich, Died-rich, through the Crossroads Urban Ur-ban Center. The hours may be added for fall quarter. |
