Thomson, director of University Libraries, present Mr. C. Everett Berger, president of Utah State AFL-CIO, with a copy of the original AFL charter. In a Friday ceremony in the Marriott Library the Western Americana Collection at the University Uni-versity Libraries became the official of-ficial archives for Utah labor organizations documents. The ceremony was attended by leaders from several labor organizations in Utah including the United Mine Workers of America and the Utah Building and Construction Trades Council. |
