Show Utah Judo Club to sponsor tourney The University Judo Club is holding two practices per week in preparation for its yearly tournament tourna-ment scheduled for mid-March. Monday and Friday evenings the team members receive tutorship in karate, judo, aikido and other related forms of self defense from a qualified Black Belt instructor. The ASUU-sanctioned club i sponsored the meet last year in which 36 trophies were awarded to winners of the junior, intermediate inter-mediate and senior classes. Although recognized by ASUU, the Judo Club to a large extent finances itself in the form of membership dues. This club extends ex-tends an open-door policy to interested in-terested students. 1 |
