Show Union movies: winter premier BY FRANK RUNNER Entertainment Staff UNION MOVIE "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Sun-dance Kid" is showing Friday and Saturday at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. at OSH auditorium. This is an all-time all-time great! It's far-out and funny. It stars Paul Newman ("WUSA"), Robert Redford ("Little Fauss and Big Halsy") and Katharine Ross ("Fools"). Newman plays the part of Butch and Redford is the Kid. They are the leaders of what became one of the most notorius gang of bandits in the West. Throughout the story they are relentlessly pursued by a posse composed of some of the most famous lawmen of their time. That posse runs them out of the States and follows them into South America. The Song "Raindrops Keep Fallin'On My Head" comes from tins show. You might dig that. Most of the story is really a gas. An inimitable comedy. You'll cry with laughter throughout most of the show and cry at the end from dismay. |
