Show Public Affairs Board accepts applications for 'Who's Who' The Associated Students of University of Utah (ASUU) Public Affairs Board is accepting applications from students interested in becoming members of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, a national homorary organization. Approximately 36 University of Utah Students will be chosen for membership in Who's Who. There are no stipulations regarding who may apply for membership. All applicants will be judged on the basis of CPA, campus activities, and service to the campus and to the community. Applications may be picked up in the ASUU offices in the Union and must be submitted by No. 11. The Public Affairs Board members, Grover Thompson, chairman, Mary Shepard and Mark Hertig urge that any interested student nominate himself. They will also request that the academic departments make nominations of their students. The Who's Who representatives will be selected from the applicants by a small committee of University students and administrators. The names of the newly chosen members will be sent to the national Who's Who headquarters in Tuscalooso, Alabama on Nov. 12 and will appear later in die organization's publication, Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. |
