Show U sacrifices students to busine: BY BILL WILSON I cannot share the optimism expressed by Cynthia Cyn-thia Wooton in her "impressions of the free speech hearing," because I have not been "impressed by the University administration's general performance perform-ance in the past." Lying, deceit and the manipulation manipula-tion of students have never impressed me. The committee has been in action for over a month and would like us to believe that they have been doing extensive research on the problem Professor Emery stated that they had come up with a list of all the speakers that had appeared on campus in the last five years and have been advertised ad-vertised in the news media. When asked how many of those speakers had been in volation of the present pres-ent speaker policy, Mr. Clyde of the Institutional Council stated that none had been. Either he did not know what he was talking about or Elena Dillon did not appear on that list. Whatever the answer might be it certainly does not lend credit to the research that has been done. rwr0leT Emery stated in his opting remarks ferent fears as to what the result of a speaker tes could elaborate on what they feared Professor Pro-fessor Emery said that he did not feel that ttis of time6 CVZ time' that th6re W0Uld xftTl committee to defend their views to XTST was made-Rat rXf . ftey felt as individuals they would how h Tain tKe U1USion at they can Tome ponounce a fair and equitable solution for all concerned, which means that if it P I downtown interests, then who cares atfc the students think.
