University gun club I prepares for match The University Rifle and Pistol jub is sponsoring an tercollegiate Conventional Rifle ctional Saturday at the Uland High School rifle range. ,e match will be the first of its id to be sponsored by the liversity. Competing will be teams from ah State University, Idaho State liversity, the University of vada and Utah, and will include individual entries. The Sectionals are conducted r several months in order to 'er competition to affiliated leges and universities at a time ivenient to them. The match is I the highlight of the collegiate shooting year. Scores from the Sectionals are combined to establish the team and individual National Collegiate champions. To be eligible for selection to the Intercollegiate Ail-American Rifle Team, candidates must have competed in a 1969 Intercollegiate International or Conventional Rifle Sectional and must have been nominated by an official representing their college or university.
