Show Physics grant The University of Utah Physics Department has been awarded a three-year, $720,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to help it expand and develop a high quality program of research and education in the sciences. Dr. Peter Gibbs, department chairman, said the money will be used to add six eminent new faculty members to the Physics Department, bring other well-known physicists to the University campus as visiting and adjunct professors, increase graduate stipends, obtain new research equipment and renovate ilk? |
