Show Science Fair Continues The annual Salt Lake City Metropolitan Met-ropolitan Science Fair will continue con-tinue throughout Friday at the Union ballroom with winners being be-ing announced at a banquet Friday Fri-day night. Over 325 projects from 75 high schools and junior high schools in the Salt Lake and northern north-ern Utah area represent the work of approximately 360 students in the huge exhibit which began last night. The science fair technically started at noon Thursday, commented com-mented the office coordinator of the science fair committee. "That's the time when the students started assembling their projects." All students stu-dents were required to pass through preliminary competition before they were chosen to represent repre-sent their school at the current state meet. To Judge Projects Mr. Alger continued that the 40 judges chosen from high school, junior high school and industry officials of-ficials would most likely judge the different projects, which include projects taken from every aspect of biological and chemical sciences, on a combination of originality, research, re-search, and effectiveness of presentation. pres-entation.
