Show Strong Showing By Wrestlers A strong performance in the NCAA wrestling championships wrapped up the most successful -eason is history. The meet, held March 22 and 23 at College Station, Penn., saw the Utes finish among the top 25 teams in the nation. Utah scored nine points in the meet, which is the most a Utah team has ever scored in the NCAA finals. Leading the team was Steve Roshek at 167 lbs. with two victories, victor-ies, including a pin, for three points. Ron Lemmon at 137 lbs. and Bal-vino Bal-vino Irizarry at 115 lbs. each recorded re-corded two victories. Rounding out the team scoring were Glen Kawa at 123 lbs. and Dave Shepard at 152 lbs. with a victory apiece. Outlook Good Since Irizarry and Shepard are freshmen, Kawa a sophomore, and Lemmon and Roshek juniors, the outlook for next year is very good indeed. In addition tcTNAA Utah was also represented in the man wrestling championships last week. Jeff Winderlin, a SOphomore who was injured during the entire ' season, won the 125 lbs. division ' He will now go to the National AAU Greco-Roman competition The 1968 wrestling season was described by.
